Material Choices

RefTech badging systems are available with badges made from a variety of different materials making them suitable for most purposes.

Plastic Badges

Our plastic credit card sized badges are 85mm x 54mm and are easy to produce, durable and prestigious and can:

• Be either landscape or portrait format
• Have a graphic that bleeds all round
• Have a round or oval hole, depending on the type of fixing to be used
• Be supplied with a low cost snap-in clip
• Clip directly to a lanyard
• Be printed double-sided
• Be recycled by an approved organisation

Compostable Badges

The standard compostable badge is easy to produce, can contain more information or bigger text and:

• Is 100mm x 80mm (custom sizes are available)
• Complies with the European compostability standard EN13432
• Is manufactured from Forestry Stewardship Council sourced paper
• Uses a corn starch laminate covering
• Can carry a graphic that bleeds all round
• Can have a round or an oval hole
• Can clip directly to a lanyard without the need for a holder
• Is printed double-sided

Cost Effective Paper Badges

Made from 115gms paper and inserted into plastic badge holders, the badges are:

• Produced quickly and cheaply
• Printed full colour with the event logos or images
• Colour coded if required to highlight different types of attendees
• Printed double-sided

The badge holders are:

• Light and durable
• Colour coded if required
• Can clip to a lanyard or directly to the attendee by clip or safety pin
