Low cost badges launched
RefTech Services, the specialist badging company, has launched a new, low cost, paper badge. The new product joins the existing RefTech range that includes plastic, credit card sized badges and double sided, cornstarch laminated badges. The paper stock has a number of advantages but one of the most important is that a full colour badge can be printed in a single pass meaning that there is no need to pre-print blank badge stock. This cuts waste and reduces badge production costs.
The new type of badge is the result of considerable development work on the part of THE RefTech team. The result is that the company is now able to offer badges of almost any size required by the customer.
RefTech sales manager, Penny Colclough said, ‘We have been working on the provision of paper badges for some time but the drive for even better value for money led us to accelerate the development programme. The paper badges offer significant savings as well as reducing wastage and reaction so far has been excellent.’
