Enable delegates to register for your event at multiple locations.
Conferences and international congresses are often based on one building but use multiple hotels. With the RefBadge multi-site option, delegates can:
- Register online
- Register at the main venue
- Register at their hotel
- If they have pre-registered they can collect their badge at their hotel
Whichever option they choose, their details will be added to the main event database immediately. This gives the organiser a number of advantages:
- Queues at the main registration area are cut
- Delegates don’t have to go to the main venue ahead of the first sessions to get their badges
- You can see who has arrived by looking at the system in any of the venues (invaluable if you want to check that a keynote speaker is present)
- Every badge is valid at every venue
All of the normal features of RefBadge can be made available through the multi-site option but, by providing registration facilities at each of the official hotels, you will enable delegates to collect their badges quickly and easily so that they can walk straight into the first sessions of the congress.
The system uses low cost Internet connections to link all of the registration points. This means that if a delegate arrives unexpectedly, the new individual can be added to the system at any of the registration points. As soon as their details are confirmed, their record will be available at all the other registration desks.
If a delegate’s badge details are incorrect, the record can be updated at one registration desk and the updates will be available immediately at all the others, no matter where they are.
Wherever you choose to site the main congress office, you will be able to see reports and statistics online to see how many delegates have collected their badges. You can have full information at your fingertips, no matter where your delegates are.
