Ticketing Services

The greatest strength of the RefTech ticketing system is its flexibility. The range of options is enormous providing the potential to tailor the system to individual events and attractions.

Integration with badging – an event can be run with some attendees using badges and others buying tickets.

Family tickets – in order to save on ticket stock the system can produce one ticket for all the people in a group. The cashier records the number of adults, children and so on but the system produces only one ticket.

Different ticket layouts – enables different text to be printed for different ticket types so an adult ticket could carry a special offer that was not printed on a child ticket.

Capacity reporting – the system can handle scanning in and out of an event to show the number of people in a given area.

Session limiting – the sessions option enables the manager to limit the number of people in a session and the system will not exceed this limit.

Verification scanning – for events such as festivals, the system can scan wristbands in and out. If the wristband has been scanned in and is presented for scanning in again without first being scanned out, an alert can be provided.

Family wristbands – enables the operator to link parents’ wristbands to those of their children so that if a child gets lost, the barcode on the child’s wristband can be scanned and a parent’s mobile phone number retrieved from the database.

Multiple wristbands – enables a cashier to supply two or more wristbands that are linked in the system so, for example, at a motorcycle rally one wristband could be issued for the rider and a second for the bike.

Department reporting – departments can be set up in the system so that a single system can handle ticket sales and merchandise. The screens and behaviour will be different but all sales are included in a single set of management reports.

Flexible reporting – to show sales volume in different ways so the system can report on the number of people who bought tickets and the volumes of merchandise sold.

Individual floats – if required, a manager can allocate an individual float to a cashier.

These are merely a few of the available options. The key fact is that there are dozens of parameters that can be turned on or off to suit the needs of a specific event or attraction.
